Praetorians still not complete! :(

All the basecoat is done, the decals are on so the blood angels are ready for the dip and spin! Some of the decals however have questionable glue! Hopefully the decal varnish dip will stick them on forever!!!!

Rhino in the background is still no where near! It ten past ten...time to call it a night on the painting!

Blood angels behind schedule

Looks like the blood angels are well behind schedule!!!!!

Anyways, had a quick look at my black Templars and have decided that I love them as much as I did when I first painted them! Will be buying more marines to speed paint for this army! Also think I will pick up the space marines codex at the weekend.....got the money and the PDF seems a little dishonest!

Ice professional review autumn 2012

Tim s, mike w and graham c all agree that I should go to review in autumn of next year....looks like it's on!!!!!

Do design experience, come back to icl, become a senior engineer.....review and chartered.

There will be no pay rise and if I fail I pick myself up and go again!!!!!

£4000 engagement ring? She's Definately worth it and would be a nice moving in present!

Blood angels progress

Blood angels black infills done, get the rhino blacked up tomorrow and the red armour touched up.

I think my next set of dipped bids will have dark(ish) blue carapace and dipped brown skin. The red looks s bit shit on my space hulk nids

May have the space hulk bids and the hive tyrant as two separate 'armies'. Possibly do the aecond batch with crushed screed bases to go with the blood angels?

Blood angels primed

Blood angels cleaned up and primed. Tomorrow I will move onto painting them up! Objective is still to have the 500 point jawaballs blood angels painted up by Friday

2nd lizardmen prototype

2nd prototype painted up from a black undercoat. Like this one more than the first. This technique is more reliable than using the washes to build up the skintone. Once the blood angels are done I will start proper on the lizardmen. Hopefully have the lizardmen finished before Christmas.
