Should I buy some sanguinary guard to go with my blood angels?

Blood angels finished

As title!




Some of the models do not have enough dull coat varnish, the tops of the shoulders are a little shiny....but their done!!!!

Now considering getting some death korps of krieg to go with my 28mm wargames factory zombies....just a platoon command squad for now though.
By my calculations a 500 point krieg list would be £170.

Also need to get the 58th praetorians done before Xmas.....eight weeks should be enough(?)

October 1/2 term

W said that if the snags are not complete the engineers would face disciplinary action, he also said he was not going to defend us (he really is a self serving prick).

The ic de snagged on Monday, Thursday and Friday. We are now down to 7 snags (3 of which are render). This does not include beds inboards or whiteboards but Phil didn't seem to care about the furniture snags. Hopefully Phil will be back to de snag early next week so the whole project can be put to bed. I do not want any further involvement with lwa phase 1.

Not sure what to think about going to arups in jan, rather than November, I really don't want to work for this team anymore...but then again, any other site will be no different.

Image change

I think it's time to start changing my image....it is Approx 12 months until I go for my professional review and I think I need a change of attitude. This will be a slow process but will be based upon maintaining that sense of achievement and havin pride in what I do (and who i am).

I need to be more responsible with money, making it work harder for me; spending it when necessary. A good example being the purchase of some new boots for winter.

I look forward to my time in a design office...time to hone that professional attitude that will hopefully define my career.

6mm Vietnam might be cool just for having lots of helicopters nipping around.....relies heavily on scenery however. 6mm ancients is also an option, long lines of Romans and millions of celts....very 'gladiator'.

Poss best to finish what's on the shelf before purchasing more projects!

New manroom

New manroom almost full of existing painting projects.....may soon run out of shelf space. Still got the White scars to come across.

Spoke to Phil for first time since handover do....very civilised. Lovely....but now engaged!

New house

Moved into Newhouse yesterday. Most stuff unpacked, quarter of the man room is done. More models to collect from Richworth road.

H said yes to my marriage proposal in Friday, she had her big rock to show off at miles bday party in marple! Feel very tired now!!!!!

Blood angels update

Painted the rhino tonight....surprisingly easy! Got to love the free hand painted yellow blood drop on the hatch, never tried anything like that before. Every blood angel is ready for the dip! Rhino will be washed, not dipped.












Considering tau battleforce for my next army, definitely won't be buying it before moving house though! Perhaps I should ignore the lizardmen for quite a while...wfb looks alot more complex than 40k and I struggle with the 40k rules!!!!

Engagement ring

I spent £3000 on an engagement ring yesterday....shit I think I'm becoming an adult! Plan to propose on the 14th when we move into our new house.
