Perspective and reflection

In january 2005:

I had £5.96 in my bank account.
I was in halls.
I was studying civ eng.
I had a job shelf stacking / riding tills.
I had a girlfriend.

In january 2013:

I have £3300 in my bank account.
I live in a house (with mortgage).
I have a bachrlors degree in civ eng.
I have a masters degree in civ eng.
I am a chartered civil engineer.
I have a job as a senior engineer.
I have a wife.
I have a motorcycle.
I have a car.
I am studying for an mba.

Achieved in eight years.
Quite impressive (not too modest me!).

Never have I challenged myself physically.

To challenge myself physically I should expect results after years (like process above), not quickly (like my current mindset).

Point of this post....just eat healthy / drink less / do more exercise / enjoy life. Dream about how cool the future will be but  dont care about monitoring the results (they will come eventually). Just bloody get on with it!

Aim needs to be clear......
